Located in the centre of Brittany is the house and cottage that make 'Le Touldren'. Finola, Kevin and Ailish welcome you to enjoy an acre of grounds bordered by the river Blavet. Our gite is on the edge of the popular villaqe of St Aignan. Saint Aignan is set at the bottom end of Lac de Guerledan, the largest man made lake in Brittany, offering watersports, small beaches, restaurants and cafes.
Five minutes from the Nantes/Brest canal you will be ideally based for walking, horse riding, cycling and fishing in the surrounding forests and countryside. We can also organise for a donkey to accompany you and carry your lunch or the children! A local French couple offer half or full day treks from their small holding just out of the village.
There are lots of markets and festivals throughout the summer with the 'Son et Lumiere' at the Abbey de Bon Repos being a real highlight in August and a large 'Bio' Fair at Mur de Bretagne in September.
